Choosing The Correct Bath Panel For You Bath

Choosing a bath panel couldn't be easier at Bathroom Collections!

Simply measure the width and height of your existing bath panel/bath and find the suitable one for your bath. Please note that the majority of manufactured baths on the market are never exactly 1700mm, 1600mm or 1500mm they may be advertised as this but in actual fact they usually end up approx 10mm shorter.

How To Install The Bath Panel

Simply take the measurement of the bath and then mark on the panel with a fine pencil line and use a hacksaw/jigsaw to make the panel correct in length. After doing this, ensure that you seal the bath panel back up with an mdf varnish or any other varnish to ensure you do not get any water ingress.

After preparing your bath panel fix a batten to the floor, level with the underside ledge of the bath by doing this it allows a solid base to fix the bath panel too.

Simply then site the bath panel on the underside edge of the bath and aginst the batten, this can then get fixed to the batten with mirror screws or even a bonding agent, after this is done then use a silicone gun and silicone to put an even strip all around the bath to seal it into position.
